Okamoto Pier is a wooden jetty extending into the sea from Haraoka Beach. There are very few spots like this in Japan. This is a great place for watching the sun set over Tokyo Bay and for viewing Mt. Fuji. People also come here to fish or go for a walk with their dog. In the evening sun it is quite a romantic view. Time seems to pass a little slower here. The pier makes an excellent subject for taking pictures and is used as a TV location.
